Tor Bridge Primary School, Plymouth – Multi Use Games Area
Following construction of the new buildings, Tor Bridge School was left with an old car parking area that was currently being used for occasional PE lessons. By using the existing car park surface as a sub-base we were able to undertake a feasibility study into what could be cost effectively done to allow a new safe games area to be constructed for the children. On completion of the feasibility study and preparation and arrangement of the tender process, a new multi-use games area was constructed with a type 3 polymeric safety surfacing, 2.4m secure fencing, complete with recessed goals and sports equipment. The MUGA is now being well used by the school for numerous types of games and activities.
